Clearwater Hampers

Clearwater Hampers approached us with a common problem - they had an existing Magento 1 website that needed rebuilding to keep up with speed, security, and compliance requirements. With Magento 1 coming to end-of-life, it was imperative that the website was rebuilt to benefit from the latest technology.

The decision was made to migrate to Magento 2, now Adobe Commerce, as it offered enhanced features and benefits over the previous version of Magento. We started the project by analyzing their existing website and identifying areas that needed improvement, whilst also ensuring that the rebuilt website would be user-friendly, maintainable, and speedy.

We began the project by creating a roadmap of the work that needed to be done, which included recreating the frontend and backend of the website. Our team was tasked with building a new theme from scratch that would work with Adobe Commerce. In addition, we helped internal staff, who were hired to take over maintenance, with catalog import and management when needed.

One of the most challenging parts of the project was customizing the multi-address shipping component of Adobe Commerce. We encountered problems with payment methods not working with multi-address shipping, which meant we had to develop a solution that worked with Clearwater Hamper's specific requirements. We also customised the full checkout process to make the journey as smooth as possible for customers.

After the website was rebuilt, Clearwater Hampers underwent a full company rebranding, which included a website redesign. Our team handled the new theme build and assisted with the switch over to the new theme as the rebranding happened to tie in with packaging and signage switchover. The redesigned website was visually appealing, easy to navigate, and functionally improved, ensuring a better user experience for customers.

Throughout the project, we communicated regularly with Clearwater Hampers to ensure that they were kept up-to-date with our progress. We held regular meetings to discuss the project's scope, deliverables, and timelines to ensure that the project was completed within the agreed timeframe.

The website rebuild and redesign were completed successfully, and the results have been impressive. Clearwater Hampers now has a website that is secure, compliant, and easy to manage. The website is user-friendly, making it easier for customers to navigate and find what they need. The multi-address shipping component, which was challenging to develop, has proven to be a valuable addition to the website, making it easier for customers to purchase gifts for multiple people at once.

Since the launch of the new website, we have continued to work with Clearwater Hampers to maintain and improve the website's features and performance. Our team provides ongoing support and ensures that the website is regularly updated to maintain its speed, security, and compliance.
